Only 3 safety practices (stair gate at the top of stairs, stair gate at the bottom of stairs, stairs are carpeted) had substantial agreement based on the κ statistic (k=0.65, 0.72, 0.74, respectively).Sensitivity was high (≥70%) for 19 of the 30 safety practices, and specificity was high (≥70%) for 20 of the 30 practices. "Oh," you may say, "I'm a lawyer or an account executive or an executive. I'm suggesting you take a fine-tooth comb and look at your actions, one at a time. You can't really help others if you can't help yourself.
The good news is that negativity can point or push you in the right direction. You can get so sick and tired of being sick and tired that you change. We create, promote or allow everything in our lives. Are you doing what you do because of conditioning, because of "shoulds" "ought tos"? You have to know where you are to go somewhere else. Your relationship with yourself is ultimately reflected in your relationships with others.
" When you don't pay attention, the universe has its ways of waking you up. What are you letting happen because "That's the way it's always been," or "I can't change them" or any of a myriad of excuses? Accept where you are as information, not as judgment.
During one altercation where I was laying out the facts, my N made the statement, “Really, you’re making me out to be complicated and the truth is I’m just a simple man.” Even though I laughed out loud, he found his self-description obviously very clever because, from then on, I’m just a simple man became his new catch phrase for every argument where he felt he had to defend himself.” Now, to be clear, by saying that the Narcissist may have told the truth, I’m not relieving him of his guilt in any way shape or form.
What I am saying is that, by insisting “I’m really just a simple man”, he was – albeit inadvertently – providing me with the biggest clue ever into how these jerks really think.
A class like the following would be a step towards hiding some complexity.
Worth mentioning that the Validator class from the Data Annotations namespace doesn't validate your object recursively but only top properties data attributes.
Today I realized that my ex, the Narcissist of my books, had given me the biggest clue into his twisted narcissistic mind when he described himself as a “simple man”.
He would say this as a way of insisting that I was making too much of things…that he didn’t even think like I made it appear he was thinking.
Like everything framework related, the Validator tries to provide an API that will work in a number of validation scenarios.
I recommend you bend it to your will and build something that makes it easy to use inside your specific design and architecture.
