It’s a dreary Saturday, and Bob Morris – one-time bandleader of the quarter-million selling Hush Sound; former label-mate of Pete Wentz and Brendon Urie; a man who, if he never headlined them, at least stood on stage in half-full arenas, opening for acts ranging from The All-American Rejects to One Republic – is playing for roughly two dozen mostly disinterested diners milling about on the rear patio of a kebab shop.They make loud conversation while settling in for lunch, as one does at in the afternoon.

After a four-year hiatus, The Hush Sound is back and ready to take the music scene by storm.
MOVE chatted with Morris about the band’s upcoming tour and return to the indie rock scene.
We mostly try to include all the elements of the different things that we like and incorporate that into who we are.
To generalize, we’ve always been fans of Fiona Apple and The Beatles, and when we first started we were super into that kind of stuff. When we make music individually it may come across one way, but with other people, the mixture of all the different things we bring to the table creates something new.

So Sudden was recorded at The Gallery of Carpet Studios in Villa Park, IL with owner/engineer/producer Brian Zieske.
Bob Morris thankfully leads as well, yet all three songs have the same theme and tone.
Starting with “As You Cry”, a blunt break-up song, Morris croons two more teenage angst numbers with the same lyrics of insensitivity towards the same lyrical ex-girlfriend.
